This is my best team top to bottom. This was a multi year rebuild in a Dynasty league. I took some Ls for a few years and traded away my best guys. I hit the books hard to study on who to draft during my rookie drafts. Im gonna start trading off some depth during the season for some elite/win now guys as I think im in my contender window.
If im wrong in that I think Herbert will be just fine and will not take a step back that will be the first place I look to upgrade. Then ill attack looking for an elite WR. Im stacked at RB and im happy with my TEs so I can move some starters around. I got quite a few of worthy starters on my bench so I got the trade capital.

I like that in dynasty you gotta live with the choices you make. Instead of only thinking about the here and now you gotta plan out for the future.
It’s mildly annoying how fantasy football works.
Fantasy F1 they give you a budget and each player dollar value assigned to them. Then you build the best team for the money. If your team does well their values go up and you can sell them and now your budget is bigger. If your team sucks you have to ride it out or sell at a loss and lose budget. You could theoretically run the same team as other players in your league.
Simple. More players to choose from in the NFL.
I was confused as shit during my first season in our F1 league.
Imagine me trying to draft in the NFL leagues after playing in the F1 league. I fucked that up real good

Im a fantasy football degenerate so I like difficult leagues. My ideal fantasy league is Dynasty + Salary Cap + IDP + True Position
Salary Cap: You get an artifical salary cap for your team that matches the NFL’s Salary cap 1:1
You sign players to your team by offering the best contract (could be 1-5years). Generally the contract goes up per year in cost.
IDP: You draft individual defensive players; not whole defenses
True Position: Players dont have postions like DL or LB or DB. Their Position is like in the NFL…DT-DE-Edge-OLB-LB-CB-S and you have to start atleast 1 of each to fill out a complete defense.
You have to evaluate your team over years and look at it as a whole. If you fuck you then you can get into cap hell so you cant just sign anyone and give them big contracts. I took over a team that a guy abandoned because he fucked up by giving Baker Mayfield a top 3 QB contract and OBJ a top 3 WR contract when both were on the browns lol. I took over the team to see if I could dig them out of this whole. The league ended up folding in 2020 (or was it 2021?) because of the Covid year and the Salary cap actually dropped. All teams but mine and like 3 others could live under the new cap without cutting players so everyone quit like some bitches.

Yeah its pretty fun but its a super niche way of playing fantasy football.
What sucks is that the only websites that support it charge you a fee but also have shitty UI. MLF charges you I think $15 a year per team per league yet has UI that is at best early 2000’s. Its awful how much they make yet cant get a good UI.
I wish I knew how to make a good app that could do the same thing because if someone does make that app and its somewhat as good as Sleeper/ESPN/NFL app they woulf make a killing

I had 3rd pick in my first draft. I took Breece Hall over CeeDee Lamb, and I feel like it is a huge mistake. Especially because I ended up with Dak as one of my QB’s. Everyone talking like Breece Hall is going to the man this year. I had him last season, it was not great.
Hall is expected to have a big year, maybe not as big as Lamb points wise, but that’s not a horrible pick. I hope you got a good WR in the second round.

My draft is tonight. I am picking 6th in a 12 team, PPR league with an extra Flex spot (TE is optional) and 6 points for throwing TD’s.
Plan A (Hero RB) is to target Bijan or Hall round one, then the best available WR and go WR, RB, WR, maybe grab Mahomes in the 5th (if available) or wait until later (7-9 round) for Murray, Burrow or Dak. Plan B (maybe Zero RB) is top tier WR and grab a RB in rounds 2 or 3 depending how the draft falls.
