Always set up a que just in case if anything happens. It should be the #2 thing you do after knowing the rules of the league. All sites rankings are dog shit so thats why you cant let auto draft happen. They will draft based off your starting lineup needs and that can screw you because their algorithms dont understand what positional value is.

I almost always take a QB late. It’s been my go to strategy for years.
I took Jalen in one league this year because he kinda fell to me and I didn’t really like anyone else but besides that I took guys late.
I got J Love in like the 13th in a 10 team ESPN league. Idk how tf that happened

Nothing wrong with taking a QB late. “Late Round QB” has been a valid strategy for like a decade now.
I have not been able to do that in years since I mostly play Super Flex leagues now so QBs always go first or pretty high unless you are going for a tank job in a dynasty league. 0

Had three first round picks this year and went Jayden, JJ, and Bo Nix. Hopefully atleast one of them works out lol
Caleb may surprise some folks this year, if he performs like a top 10 qb… you’ll be fine.

This team won me a title back in 2020 in my first year in that league. I decided to blow the team up because I hate that fantasy format and only played it because someone agreed to pay part of my entry fee. I wanted a more challenging fantasy format then that. You can win a leagues with less than great 2 QBs in a title game but I generally feel comfortable with atleast 1 elite QB.
Whats funny if I picked up Hurts off waivers when he was dropped and imagin blowing up that team after 1 year lol.
This is what the team looks like now. I follow the general rule of “If you need meaningful games from a Rookie QB you most likey are not a real contender”. I feel like this team is bout 2 years away from being a contender if Daniels and Maye are good.

I also went very late in my 2nd league draft, and I got Lawrence in my second to last pick. I do feel like if you have one of the few running QB’s you definitely have an advantage, as they are commonly scoring 1.5x a pocket passer if they have a good game.
Yahoo had a note saying Herbert was going to be the starter for the Bears, but had Swift listed as twice as much in projected points. That scared me off drafting him late. Kind wish I would have taken the chance on him.

Honestly im not very confident anyone knows how this backfield will look when games are being played.
Bears have Swift as the starter and Herbert/Johnson sharing 2nd string duties but those depth charts are wrong all the time.
If I had to bet I think Herbert is the between the 20s guy and Swift will be the redzone/passing downs guy. If thats the case then Swift is gonna be getting the more valuable touches and that would explain the higher projected scoring.

Good news is you’re stacked outside of qb so you just need a little luck and you’ll be fine.
