Raekwon McMillan looked great out there. I wonder what the over/under is on him not landing on IR as usual.
Hes been someone i hoped would emege for a while now.
I dont like losing Judon either. Its not like they were going do anything this year with him but he was at least a bright spot that would produce some fun plays along the way to all 3 wins this season.
They say getting a 3rd round pick for him was a steal. I dont see it that way. He was more than just the best player on the team.

I expect weāll see Wise, Jennings, White, and while Iām not holding my breathe, Uche rush the passer more to recreate some of Judonās pass rush. Not sure what the plan is for Barmore. That dude was a beast.
I love Judon. Heās been awesome since coming here. My understanding is they werenāt even remotely close on the extension numbers. Heās 32 coming off a missed year, so I understand the Patās reluctance to give him the kind of money he wants. Itās definitely a bad look, though, as heās gone out of his way to get guys to come here and we ship him to Atlanta. A 3rd rounder is good value. With $50m on this yearās cap, weāre going to be buyers again next year, so Judonās comp pick would have been nullified anyway.

From what I saw, Uche was very effective rushing the QB, when Judon was also on the field, not so much when Judon was not. Judon was effective regardless. They have no plan for missing Barmore which I canāt get mad at them over.
They were supposed to be buyers this year but they didnāt really buy, did they?
Resigned some guys and spent some money there but nothing else. I really think this ānot spendingā thing has been the krafts all along. Just learning what he refuses to spend money on that other teams have is telling.

Believe me, Iām not a fan of the Krafts, especially after that bullshit hatchet job they did on Belichick. But in their defense, they did offer Aiyuk $32AAV if the reporting is to be believed. He just didnāt want to play here.
OT is going to have to be from the draft or some kind of blockbuster trade. They just donāt come up during free agency. Which makes what the did in the draft make no sense. I understand drafting Maye, but Polk in the early 2nd when we needed LT and RT? Come on, man.

Iām no fan of brisett but I want him to play so Maye can develop, learn, and not get murdered behind an almost D2 college line. this team is going to be bad, no matter what. I think the coaching is a mess and will be a mess. If anything I just hope they have someone competent in charge of developing Maye before he has to play.
the entire organization just seems to be a mess. mayo is head coach but not in charge of much of anything. elliot wolf has more say than mayo, even who plays or gets practice reps. thats bad. this van pelt guy has never been a play caller but is the play caller this year. every coach is in a position they have no prior experience with and most of them are all new to working together and were not selected by the head coach.

Yeah, but I wouldnāt expect anything else from the local media. Theyāve been coming up with their own narratives for as long as theyāve had teams to āreportā on. Tom Curran is one of my favorites. Not because I like him, but because of how full of shit he is. Itās almost comical how he spins his own stories. Even Phil Perry has to reel him in sometimes. Then you got guys like Felger on the radioā¦

Right now Nix, Williams, and Daniels are looking like day 1 starters, so of course there needs to be a story on Maye; his inadequacies or the coaching inadequacies. God forbid he sit for a year. I say put Brissett in there and let him take hits until we can get adequate talent at the OT position. Who gives two shits what the shithead mediots say. They are required to print something regardless of whether itās true or not.

I was kind of surprised to see Kevin Harris cut. He had a decent preseason, and along with Terrell Jennings ends up on the practice squad.
Joey Slye is our new kicker. Wasted a 4th round pick on Chad Ryland in ā23.
Shaun Wade gets cut at CB. He was obviously no pro bowler, but good lord that Dial kid was completely lost out there all preseason and made the cut.
Antonio Mafi gets cut. Not surprised. Heās been a liability since day one.
I hope Zappe catches on somewhere. I watched one of those predraft specials on him and heās definitely a likeable guy.
