One of the âissuesâ with the dogs is that they are usually super mellow, but every once and a while they go from 0 to 100 so to speak. They got to be this way through artificial selection. The breeders wanted dogs that were easy to handle most of the time, but could kill another dog without needing to go through the normal threat displays first.

That would be the 10% the expert was talking about. Totally unpredictable.
Itâs supposed to all be combined in each dog. The dogs that were dangerous to handlers were culled, and so were the dogs that didnât show enough gameness in fights.
Now the dogs are for the most part no longer bred professionally, theyâre bred by scum and idiots, so logically we should expect to see more variation in temperament.

A problem with pits is that most are from backyard breedersâŚ
It attacked horses like fighting and baiting dogs were meant to do, but to pit lovers, it is the owner not the breed
