I was riding my bicycle on the backroads near a beach and I rode accidently into a homeless camp and was surrounded by pitbulls. Lucky the lady was there and called them off. I hadnt brought a knife of pepper spray but I would have been fucked even if I had.
All it would take is for one dog to get aggressive and it would have been a life changing moment for me.
I dont know if I posted this here but my wife got chased by two pitbulls at another beach. She saw the dog maybe 50 yards away and it locked eyes on her and our dogs and sprinted full speed. She said she barely made it to my truck and the two dogs were circling like sharks.
If you want a pitbull and can control it then that is your right.
You missed the victims sister not blaming the dogs.

I could have sworn gregbrady came over…guess not.
My 78yr old father-in-law was bitten by a pitbull a few months ago. He was taking his daily walk on the sidewalk & it ran up from behind him. He said he never saw it until he felt the bite on his hand. Luckily the lady owner was there & called it off before a full-on attack, she said the dog was just curious & apologized. This was in a normal suburban neighborhood, not a trashy area. The dog was loose & lived in the house he walked past.
He needed stitches due to “curiosity”.

One morning, in the north Euclid hood, I was leaving my rental and on my way back to the city I work in. I’m driving along and see some kids on the sidewalk, I assumed, they were waiting for the school bus. Just then from my right, two giant , collarless pits bolt from some backyard, right towards the kids. I ran those fuckers right over. I remember seeing the one pit take off despite just getting squashed. East Cleveland/Euclid literally have genetically engineered monstrosities walking around the streets free roaming.

That’s a mutt.
Unless you do dirt cheap ghetto dog fights, I do not understand the point of owning this breed.
