You could pick randos in the audience and say it’s Rosie O’Donald or Tom Cruise. Pick famous people that would never set foot at a UFC fight.

Seriously…lean in on that motherfucker.

I mean this one is no harm, no foul…because, well…you know.

Similar point, based on his response I got the feeling he may have advised against or cautioned this may happen and was overruled by some people with influence on matters.

This is the Apostle’s Creed. It was written around 150 AD. It slightly predates ChatGPT

When was the last time Conor avoided all interviews after a fight…

Conor’s left leg was the broken one, right?

I tore my MCL in basketball before in my mid 20s and I did the physical therapy, recovered fine and went back to playing.

Because I was on crutches while my MCL healed, I overcompensated on my left side quite a bit. Even after I stopped using crutches I was still leaning and putting more weight on that side in anything I did.

I ended up having a bunch of small issues that created instability in my left knee. The muscles around my knee were overused and weak, and putting a lot of strain on my ligaments. I never tore anything in that knee, but I did have a hamstring and calf strain in the same leg. I think if I didn’t address that instability when I did, I may have torn a ligament in the other knee.

My right knee, where the original injury is, feels great. My left knee is slightly weaker, substantially better than it was before, but I’m still working on strengthening it.

I never broke either leg and I don’t have access to the best doctors like Conor does, but maybe the leg break caused him to use his other leg more and it created instability.

I will say that when I did have the left knee instability, explosive movements were scary. There were times it felt ok and others where I hyper extended my knee. Also sprained my ankle because of it. I imagine if I was unlucky or didn’t address it, I would have torn something. When I sprained my ankle, I was going from full speed to almost a full stop, and taking a lateral step. I landed wrong on the lateral step and that’s how it happened.

All that to say I don’t think he had a preexisting injury, based on my own personal experience. I think he had instability, it didn’t feel right and he knew it, and was hoping it wouldn’t affect his fight performance.

Except Drew Dober

I think this is prob the most likely scenario. Along with he knew he was going to get fucked up even if healthy. This is mma not a Bruce Lee movie. Wtf was he even trying? Max just stepped aside and looked at him like wtf was that?

Holy shit at pirate mcgregor’s face. Looks like an AI pic.

Yeah. He probably wanted to test the knee early and convince himself he was ready to fight. There’s no indication he was “injured” to me and the instability is something that you wouldn’t necessarily see. But he’s not gonna pull out of the fight. That’s one of his favorite kicks
