I think Adesanya knows his days as a contender are done and he’s never sniffing a title-shot again. So he just fights whoever he wants to fight and however he wants to fight. I don’t think losing is a big concern for him. I see him potentially losing two more fun fights then calling it quits.
Unlike someone like Robert Whittaker who very much seems likes he’s still trying to win and hang in the rankings.

At this point he can put in 100% and maybe he wins or loses against somebody who will be forgotten soon, or he can put in 80% and get the same results, which do you think he’s going to do at this point after this any years.
