To explain why this (and future Perth cards) are/will be so shit:

Tourism Western Australia is paying the UFC a hosting / site fee to bring events to Perth. Roughly $3-5 million per event

They sold WA the dream after a couple of solid cards that brought interstate and even international “tourists” to Perth (think Volk v Islam 1)

Now they’re guaranteed millions whatever shit they put on. Also, because they don’t come here often - demand outweighs supply. So they charge (and often get) stupid high ticket prices

So they put on shit cards to save on fighter wages, knowing they’ll make bank regardless
