Personally not a fan of Ethereum or Layer 2s, BIg fan of Solana, Ton, Mina. I think it is inevitable that we will live in a multi chain world. CBDCS will come into existence. Blockhain projects will increasingly become pervasive and will be an important part of interactions with AI.

I found it funny that Futurama was slating NFts the other day, they and most people still do not get it.
an NFT is an ownership token. Sound useless but its just a contract on chain, unforgeable perfect for access. They WILL become the defacto method of contracting in the very near future.

It’s spurious garbage. No one cares what it “represents” because it’s media that exists in a digital format, i.e. infinitely replicable. it’s only value is speculation for the people willing to rip other people off. All NFTs have lost 95-99% of their value within 12 months of “minting”. It’s no different than the fake stocks prior to the crash in the early 20th century.
Just so were on the same page. There is crypto and then there is Bitcoin. They are not the same thing. Bitcoin is considered, by any serious entity, as a commodity at this point in time.
Crypto is garbage that is used as a gamble, if you get in early, to 1000x or more. And brother, if you hear about a project by any level of surface media, it’s already too late. You are the exit liquidity.
This should be a separate thread for “crypto” only. And you should be completely transparent about what it is in the original post of this thread. Seen plenty of scammy posts by people on the old OG threads.
again the media is not important in the slightest. I made the BTC thread and the old Ethereum thread was the ‘others’ thread. I cant realyl see how i coudl be MORE transparent that this is about all other cryptos that are not BTC

Spending my Sunday afternoon pulling everything off of exchanges to my ledger and trezor and freezing the accounts. Looks like I’ll be on-chain only for the rest of the season.

no commercial miner uses graphics cards, sounds like a crock of shit. If you mean asics need replacing every two years this also sounds like built in obselence there is no empircal reason as to why such a part SHOULD wear out with two years consistent use. Some dont even pay for themelves, for 5 years, so definitely sounds like bullshit.
