Watched Pearl (2022) last night. I didn’t love it or hate it which is why I wasn’t in a rush to watch it. It was about what I expected. Well acted and directed but just wasn’t that scary and didn’t do much for me. I thought Mia Goth’s character in Infinity Pool was more memorable too.

It’s not out for streaming yet, but it will be going to Hulu as it was made by Neon pictures, and they have an exclusive with Hulu.

Just finished Night Swim, another ringer by Blumhouse. Reminded me of the late 90’s early 2000’s style horror flicks like 13 Ghosts, Ghost Ship, House on Haunted Hill, etc. Some fun scares and for a movie about a haunted pool it was decent. Ending was kind of a let down. Worth a watch. Playing on Prime.

It feels like I haven’t seen a single new horror movie this year. I know I’ve seen a few but I don’t remember what, and I haven’t seen anything I’ve been looking forward to.
I’m sure you know there’s a Megan sequel coming, but did you know there’s also a spin off movie coming? Unreal, as the kids say.
