What are the odds for a Paul victory? I wonder whether the odds have moved due to a lot of people betting on him, either because they’re online fans of his who know nothing about boxing or because bunging a quid on at a thousand to one (say) is genuinely great value. Plenty of things can go wrong on the night - freak injuries, etc. Ryan Burnett had his back go in the middle of a fight, for example. In fact, I might do that myself, even though I have zero doubt in the outcome.
Honestly, I think he’s just going to get smashed. Joshua isn’t as good as perhaps he’d like to be, but he’s no slouch and he has a lot of power. But most importantly, I think he’s genuinely a fighter, and I don’t think he’d ever go there to carry Paul. He has a fair bit of meanness in him.
Anthony has been paid to carry him. If Jake’s head isn’t in orbit my suspicions will be proved true, no further evidence needed
To put it into perspective, Ronda Rousey was -1250 to beat Holly Holm.
In other words, according to the odds, Jake Paul is more likely to beat Anthony Joshua than Holm was to beat Rousey.
