Alfred Bester wrote a classic science fiction novel, “The Demolished Man”, which depicted a future where everyone is a telepath, and described the attempt of a man to get away with murder in a world where everyone’s thoughts are known.
That’s kind of what we have now, only instead of mind-reading everyone puts out their innermost thoughts, including the really stupid and nasty ones, on social mediawhere everyone can read them and see what kind of awful person they really are. This woman trashed her career and reputation, destroyed her livelihood, is probably receiving threats, got fired, became a pariah, and is probably going to lose her medical license because she had to publicize one of her TDS-deranged thoughts.

Who wants to go to a theme park when it’s 85 and 90% humidity and rainy/thunderstorms off and on all day. Especially when the company is so shitty, and so ridiculously expensive. You can see tranys working all over the park though. Last time I went to WDW was for a halloween party last year my wife won tickets to. Walking in between the gate and the photographer in the main street circle there were 3 obvious dudes wearing dresses.

I’ve been to WDW once for a conference where they needed a SCIF, Disney has one (!) in the military-use resort village. In the middle of the summer, humidity was insane (I’m a desert boy and can handle high temps but humidity slays me). But I was on my own without the wife and kids so after hours I would hang out on the hammock in front of the lake by my room with a cocktail and watch families come back from a day at the park in the heat and humidity, kids screaming, parents snapping at each other, everyone sweaty and looking miserable. Ohne mich.
