Yeh here DFO have nothing better to do than go check on people that were reported by their lazy jealous neighbours.
But undersized bass or mackerel poaching deserves them losing their gear or more. Imho

Me too. It was pretty spectacular. One day we spent on a tour boat, saw Sperm whale, 3 kinds of dolphins, lots of seals. The next day we went swimming with the dolphins. They came so close, jumped over us, etc., and I found myself thinking “I hope these dolphins know what they’re doing”.
Great trip, we’re trying to figure out how to get back.

Beauty pics, I have some very similar ones in the photo album. My wife and I both say that it’s hard to take a bad picture in New Zealand.

I really want to go back there sometime. Something special in the air there. Everything just seems so bright, clean and vivid.

my youngeest son, 5, caught his first snake today (garter) all on his own
spotted it on his own, caught it and adjusted/controlled when it tried to bite his hand and didnt freak out
he’s been dying to catch a snake this summer

Nah, older one isnt as into catching creatures as the little guy
He learned it from watching a couple of nature based youtube channels we let him watch. (Outdoor boys , old steve irwin, coyote peterson, etc)
He woke up yesterday deadset on finally catching a snake so i took him to the local state park
