Was a regular with DVDVR and met some cool folks there.
Read a bit of Fark and Digg often, didn’t take part in their communities.
UG in 2006, I didn’t like the Sherdog community. Too many normies.
Reddit in 2010 with the Digg to Reddit exodus.
UG / OG was kinda the last bastion for me.

A little Sherdog, a little MMA linker. 99.999572% OG though. Not really active but have accounts and lurk on some shooting and hunting forums.
Bodybuilding, Icelounge, Digg, Neogaf, Reddit, Hacker News, 4chan/8chan, vwvortex, golfmk7… probably some others I forgot about. Bunch of stupid places.
But if we do this right it could be the last one for me.
only one besides this and the og. it was called mmashare.com. i think the site still exists. not the forum though. being there is the reason i didn’t join the og til way later.

I ran a forum with some buddies called GameRaider. Com, it was a vBulletin forum
From 2001 to 2005ish.
Slogan was “Play Hard, Stay Hard”. Decent community (500 active, 1000 total), good times. Was lurking at the UG already.
I do miss the site. But I don’t miss the hassle, though I’m sure these sites are worse.

I’ve been on so many fucking car forums since the late 90’s it’s insane. Saw a lot of BEHEMOTH sites with massive amounts of sponsors get bought out and go under or at least become mostly useless as well

It would be great if this forum could become user sourced. No-one (like Kirik) trying to monetize shit. Find out how much it costs to run the fucking place and ask users to pay for it and a bit for the guys working on it.
