I get it, but come on. Legally I suppose the cop was ok to shoot, but just move out of the way? She was going 2 mph, just step to the side and then handle it.

This was a minor crime, the cop stood in front of the car, the car was slow moving and easy to side step, and the cop decided his best option was to shoot.
I’m just saying, that reeks of a cop who has just waiting for the time he could smoke someone and get away with it.

She was an idiot.

Terrible shoot.
Yeah she had shoplifted and shouldnt have driven off, but in the moment getting panicked she did.
Same goes for the cop, in the moment, knee jerk reaction and all that.
One of them has had training for situations like this the other hasnt…
