I think if he had come straight in when Pride folded he would have for sure had a title run at least.
Current HW division is underwhelming but I definitely dont think its worse than it was for most of the 00s. I’m talking UFC specifically here, not Pride.
The peak is for sure lower. Wes Sims could stomp some of these guys out (literally) though
