Tysons ability to land clean, quick shots on someones chin, then immediately follow up with more clean, quick shots, is absolutely more effective than Cro Cops head kicks.
I’ll say it again, no chin is unbreakable. Its especially funny when we are talking about putting a journeyman MMA guy/kickboxer against a world class boxer who was regarded as an ATG puncher in the sport of punchers. The pay in MMA is better than in rugby these days tbh. Yet somehow that sport is still full of HW freaks while the UFCs HW division is a joke.

Meanwhile in rugby they can not only get decent pay all over the rugby world the support system is fantastic (non existent in MMA), I did S&C work with some Island boys in Australia years ago who were still playing in the feeder division and some of them had jobs with Mastercard cause rugby has a big following among the alumni of elite schools who went on to run large corporations and are still active in the clubs they were never good enough to play for
Others were working in the clubs bar or on construction sites run by ex players
There’s also a lot more places at the table given we are talking about a team vs indiviual sport

The standards of both chins and punching power are significantly higher in boxing than in MMA or even kickboxing.
Rugby has a much bigger talent pool as well though so its a harder path to the top. Theres probably a few hundred pro HWs in the world in MMA, I doubt its more than 400. You can get signed to the UFC off the back of having like 5-8 fights then potentially be fighting for the belt a few fights later. Its the easiest major sports “league” to get into by miles.
