All Colby had to was be smart and fundamental and it was going to be in the bagā¦
Even then Arman got in deep a couple of timesā¦
It was not a pretty style to watch but his entire folk background is built around position and rewards not wrestlingā¦
Colby was a solid college wrestler but not some phenom by any stretchā¦

Covington did exactly what somebody not in optimal shape should do. Did just enough to look busy, stayed in good position and found opportunities to score in short time. Thatās all he needed to win this match because he was going against somebody who is very inexperienced.

I will say, Colby has been doing RAF for long enough now that if he was serious he would be in as good as shape as a late 30s guy can beā¦
It would be pure speculation to suggest if he is not trying as hard as he should or if this is now his ceilingā¦
Either way, it is more than good to hold on the wooden cross over belt for yearsā¦

Looking at some stuff while waiting for repechage and was a bit surprised to find out Colbyās first RAF match was just 7 months agoā¦
In my mind it was longerā¦
To be 100% fair, it may take longer than 7 months as a 38 year old to get into the best cardio and muscular shape for the hardest sport on the planetā¦
