Mean Gene read a poem to all the campers at maple lake that stuck with me quite a bit called “the man in the glass”. When my son was born I printed it out and hung it in his room…still there 12 years later. Gene is the man.

I sent a kid i trained to his camp He loved it and loved Gene..Gene liked my kid but said he was one of biggest handfuls hes ever had which didnt suprise me

first time i ever saw or heard of Mills was at Empire States in NY..I had never heard of him he actually was from NJ I dont know how he got in the NY tourney But he was wrestling a guy named Bob Bury who had 3 state titles which at the time was the most in NY.I didnt know what Bury looked like but knew the name I was only 12.They call Bury vs Mills mat 2 .I didnt know which was which but assumed Bury was the guy winning 15-0 but it was Mills wiping the floor with NYs all time best.Bury went on to Penn State he did ok but never made all american .,Mills went on to be a legand and my all time favorite wrestler

Maybe from wrestling at Syracuse? I just remenber him demonstrating a half on me and the amout of torque he created with that sucker made it feel like he was separating my neck from my upper back lol…ashame that we boycotted the olympics while he was in his prime.

Never heard of them, but this is good.
Well I saw Buchanan the other night, he looks like a handful.
Although Dake is a nerd he is exciting to watch, they should keep leveraging that.
This is good, and exposure like this could make Greco more popular.
Kids will see this and maybe the interest will grow.
