Get Rulon Gardners fatass out there to wrestle Cormier

Another stupid thing to say…

You are the gift that keeps on giving…

Cormier wants to wrestle so bad so give him an opponent - stop trying to wrestle a guy that owns his mind, body and spirit ..

Kenny Monday?

Yes he kept our little friend running scared around the Tulsa area.

Monday was a beast and he showed a lot of promise when it came to mma .. his submission grappling match vs Hume was pretty interesting - he just was nowhere near Humes level whrn it came to sub grappling.

He beat the crap out of John Lewis.

Michael Bisping had the opportunity to wrestle Tito Ortiz under the Real American Freestyle (RAF) banner, but the former UFC middleweight champion had to pass due to a bad neck.

“The asked me for half a million dollars to go wrestle against Tito Ortiz,” revealed Bisping during a recent episode of his Believe You Me podcast. “I swear to God.

“If it was a boxing match, yeah. But wrestling, my neck couldn’t take that. I was tempted. I was like, ‘Half a mill for a little wrestling match?’

“That’s what there guys are getting paid if not more.”

Bisping didn’t take it because he wouldn’t be allowed to work for the UFC again if he lost

A buddy was doing some coaching with Tito last fall and he said RAF was in talks with Tito…

This was immediately after he made his drunken rant on the mic at one of their events…

I find $500K hard to believe but who knows…

Very impressive win. Lewis was a very good bjj fighter with a ton of experience and Monday showcased the bjj fighters weakness .. I wish Monday had kept fighting mma but me thinks the Hume loss greatly discouraged it

I think Kenny knew his competition days were over. He won an Olympic gold in 1988, and this was 8-9 years later. He had made the 96 Olympics, but he had lost a step. His main competition to make the 96 team got murdered, so it’s possible if that doesn’t happen he doesn’t make it in 96. If it had been 4-5 years earlier I think he gives it another go. I could be wrong but I think he had a knee injury around the time he was coming back in 1995, but I don’t exactly remember.
