Monday was a beast and he showed a lot of promise when it came to mma .. his submission grappling match vs Hume was pretty interesting - he just was nowhere near Humes level whrn it came to sub grappling.

Very impressive win. Lewis was a very good bjj fighter with a ton of experience and Monday showcased the bjj fighters weakness .. I wish Monday had kept fighting mma but me thinks the Hume loss greatly discouraged it
I think Kenny knew his competition days were over. He won an Olympic gold in 1988, and this was 8-9 years later. He had made the 96 Olympics, but he had lost a step. His main competition to make the 96 team got murdered, so itâs possible if that doesnât happen he doesnât make it in 96. If it had been 4-5 years earlier I think he gives it another go. I could be wrong but I think he had a knee injury around the time he was coming back in 1995, but I donât exactly remember.
