I have and still light off alot of fireworks(over $1000 worth on Friday) never though it would be a good idea to hold onto one but thats just my opinion.

Ha, the first firecracker I had ever seen was a Black Cat.

We couldn’t get em in Canada unless you smuggled them across the border, so they were a rare occurrence.

I was about 13, and my friends brother managed to get a bunch across the border.

First time out, I’m by myself, just me and a bunch of Black Cats. Go down to the river, get one out light it up, cock my arm back to throw it and BOOM.

See, no one told me the fuse wasn’t like in the movies were ya had 5 minutes to toss it lol.

There I was, standing there like a retard, too scared to look at my hand which I was pretty sure I just blew off.

There was barely a scratch haha.
