valencia over jackson- valencia should be the overwhelming favorite on paper, but, he got thumped hard by keckeisen last month and jackson is no punk… they wrestled in croatia last year and valencia teched him 12-2 in the first… he would be a huge favorite if he had not looked so rough last month… valencia was puking mid way through the second, so, clearly off…
dake over kadik- kadih did tech dake in 21 olympics, but, somehting was clearly off and dake will be soooo much bigger…
mocco over elders- on pure reputation alone and the fact that mocco would not be showing up just for fun… he is not built like that…
downey over buchanan- downey coming off wrestling one of the absolute best to ever do it and now facing a freestyle neophyte in buchanan…
thomasello over desanto- NATO has looked really good and although i am huge fan of desanto, he finds ways to lose against the best guys…
oliver over woods- basically a toss up, but, neither exactly light up the score board and prime vs prime i go JO all day every day…
lugo and dijulius- who the hell knows… total toss up… neither have been active recently and neither were tip of the spear on their best day… could be very competitive… could be dull as fuk…
mugzy and georgio- another one to just throw darts at the wall… both youtube guys… had a manufactured altercation last event to set this up… georgio apparently had a decent HS career and then wshed out quick in college… i hate his silly take me down for a 1K shtick he does which is just another version of what palacio did years ago… i want mugzy to thump him just because…
the absolute most intriguing match of the night is also a bit of a pick ‘em-
Yoel Romero vs Nickal…
when this match was originally made for last event it was super exciting but felt a little gimmicky because Yoel is just a couple of weeks from the old folks home… then Yoel showed up and just ran house on downey showing he 100% still is a fukn DAWG… controlled every position… scored every time he attacked… big blast double for the tech followed by the back flip… at 48 fukn years old…
Nickal nowhere near the wrestling credentials, but, one of the best folk resumes ever and was a U23 world champ… never made a senior team and looked lost out there with the absolute best on the planet…
prime vs prime this is not a match at all and Yoel rolls… all things considered this is a incredibly interesting match and could go either way…
