HW sucks today largely because they’re often boring decision machines.
Tank if a fight went past 3 minutes:
He would not be beating even the worst ones.

I haven’t fread the whole thread here, but it seems to me that Rogan was talking about the Tank of yesteryear fighting in today’s heavyweight division. Not the sixty year old version with organ transplants.
The guy that was beating up random drunks in bars before the UFC I guess.
I mean the current HW division is pretty shitty but thats compared to like early 10s UFC, mid 00s Pride, Strikeforce HW GP etc, not tournament era 90s UFC. Bearing in mind Tank didnt even fight most of the better guys around at that time either.
Doesn’t that describe most of the Hw division these days?
The operative word is ‘could’. Tank COULD knock anyone out. That doesn’t mean it’s more likely than him not doing so.
Anyone COULD land a lucky punch - even me. The difference between me landing it and Tank landing it is that the worst heavyweight on any roster, let alone the UFC’s, barely notices I’ve hit them (and I hit pretty hard for my weight).
Anyway, that’s the Tank of more than 20 years ago. I thought he could barely walk nowadays.
This is not exactly the same as “most active UFC heavyweights”
Who’s the bald midget to Tank’s right???!!!

Hey, accidents happen.
He should fight Jake Paul as a good assessment to how much he has left. And if he has anything left how much does he have to give???!!!
They should have a 3 round fight, and the rounds should be 2-3 minutes.
The under card should have a fight between Matt Abbott and me. Conceivably it could be on the main card, since a lot of people have waited a long time for this to happen.
How is a guy like Tai Tuivasa any better than Prime Tank? They’re equally terrible and I am sure a few lightweights could kick either guys ass by simply surviving the first 2 minutes
I wouldnt completely rule Tank out, but Tai has way more of a pedigree. He came into the UFC at 6-0 also having pro boxing experience. At one point before the wheels came off he was 14-3 with wins over guys like Lewis, Struve, Sakai and a past prime but still in his 30s Arlovski. I dont think Tank ever had a single win as good as those.
That’s fair, competition for Tai was steeper I am just simply looking at some of these guys and think wow they look like shit, it’s anyone’s fight

Joe takes his glazing of fighters way too far.
Or MMA fights on a basketball court.
Tank would have a better chance winning a fight against a lower ranked heavyweight than the equivalently ranked ones at LHW and MW.
