Rogan Says UFC Canceled Fedor Deal After Dana Faced Security Threats

You basically said Rogan only lies and is never truthful. That’s objectively retarded. Your bias is clouding your judgement.

I didn’t basically say anything, I said exactly what I said. Rogan talks a lot of bullshit and falls for a lot of bullshit. Not an opinion, an objective fact.

If you read Rogan’s quote instead of the clickbait headline it didn’t have to do with security concerns.

I mean, seems like that lines up with my argument on the subject? Though Rogan has said enough stupid shit to make my comments about him valid too.

Even if you were correct, which you aren’t, there’s a difference between a lot and full stop. I listen to about an episode and a half per week. His recall is insane, and is usually right, and when he’s not he admits it. His MMA/TMA/Combat sports knowledge is literally second to none. MAYBE Danaher knows more than him, but I would be money they’re interchangeable for 1 and 2 as for as it’s concerned.

Looks if you are Joe Rogan fan fill your boots, not trying to change your opinion on the guy. Why would I? I stand by my own opinion of the clown though.

You can’t say that name. The undertones it may invoke…

The actual quote that Fedor asked for too much at the 11th hour has been the story for the last 8 years or so. They also asked for M1 global to plastered all over the cage.

By all means, try and prove me wrong. Show me this “a lot” of bullshit he spews and falls for.

There are actual quotes in that article that refer to shady gangsters etc. I don’t know about the 11th hour stuff but do remember claims about what they wanted at the time. Ultimately they couldn’t make a deal, that’s the story.

The idea that they were the problem and Dana White was just an innocent victim is a little tough to believe given the shit we have seen him do over the years though.

Why would I try to prove you wrong? Like what you like, believe what you believe, I don’t care.

That’s a weird way of saying you can’t.

Sure thing, you win champ. You have defended your boyfriend’s honour admirably today. Let Rogan know, he might do the splits for you. :rainbow:

I’m not attempting to paint Dana as an innocent victim here but considering everything the Fertitas have said and the pressure Dana had to sign him I tend to believe them that they offered him a massive deal. Imo, M1 never had any intention of making a deal in good faith.

Nothing in these quotes suggest the decision not to sign him was due to security concerns unless you have severe reading comprehension disabilities.

“Fedor was controlled by some Russian people that were very rough men — gangster-type characters,” Rogan explained on his podcast. "They had a bunch of negotiations with the UFC but they were very unreasonable demands.

“… They wanted to own a piece of everything. . . . Negotiations were very intense and very confrontational; they got bad. Dana [White] had to up his security. . . . These were dangerous people. . . . It got crazy.”

The deal didn’t get done because of ownership requests end of story. That has been out there for years.

According to Dana…

Aside from the article the rhetoric was always that M1 was unreasonable and The UFC offered them the world. Maybe they were, maybe they weren’t but we know from experience Dana and the Fertitas are greedy, dishonest pieces of shit, so worst case scenario, 2 sets of cunts tried to make a deal and couldn’t because they were both unreasonable cunts.

Wouldnt be surprised of Dana lied to Joe about this.
Joe seems more u believable to me the older he gets.

We also know from experience Vadim was extremely difficult to deal with as well. Coker was desperate for a splash and he made it despite the business side of it.

Dana has talked about all of this in the past.
Said negotiations were crazy from their side with % ownership demands, guaranteed places for M1 fighters, a stadium built in Russia, co-promotion with M1.
Lorenzo really wanted Fedor and kept upping and in the end he was offered apparently the biggest at-the-time $ the UFC had ever offered and M1 turned them down.

Generally I take what Dana says with a grain of salt but when Fedor showed up in other US promotions there was co-promotion stuff plastered in promotional material and in the stadium and there were other M1/Russian fighters on the cards, so some of it was true.
