When Goldie made that dumb statement mid fight about Lutter being the Michael Jordan of BJJ, probably a way to hype the fight, Rogan was quick to mock him. Yet Rogan’s fluffing was Rousey was way worse, it wasn’t some in the heat of moment dumb shit like Goldberg, he really truly believed it. I think Rousey started to believe it as well, like when she couldn’t admit Cain would beat her in a fight because she always has a chance or some BS.

Like this is Ronda rolling with some unknown high school wrestler.

So the fact Joe is getting shit on after he talked her up for so long is funny to me. I mean she was being a cunt about it no doubt, she coulda qualified it by saying well he’s a great martial artist, a lot of experience but he isn’t an MMA coach or fighter etc instead she dismissed him and his opinions outright. Or really she coulda just understood it’s a comedy podcast and stopped being a cunt for a minute and just had fun with the ridiculous scenario Bert was making.

It’s been claimed in some circles that human beings are designed to believe in a higher power and when you do not believe in a God of any particular religion you start to look towards human beings to fill in that gap.

If that theory is true 100% Rogan did that with Rousey and Ngannou IMHO. It’s like he really wanted to believe they had some other worldly quality and that they were not like ordinary people.

Look at him here with Ngannou saying he thinks Francis might be able to beat all the heavyweight Boxers as he is apparently that good.

It’s like he ‘‘wants’’ to believe that so badly because he thinks Ngannou is so special and not like other humans beings.

Then of course Anthony Joshua showed what happened when a Boxer actually took him seriously and it was a complete mismatch with Francis looking like an absolute amateur. Muscle memory is a thing for a reason.

Shame Rogan used to be such a credible guy before he ruined his reputation with Rousey who ended up exposed and then completely shit on him in the end lol.
