My opinion isn’t based on how good I think Ronda is or isn’t. It’s based on how bad I think Holly is. Forget she knocked Ronda out. Ever performed since then has been shit and only got worse and worse as time went on
True she declined rapidly after that fight but not enough IMHO for Ronda to have a chance of beating her.
Maybe in the U.S. Maybe even here in the U.K. in her prime. But I think Katie Taylor is better known than either here now.
Either way, Katie will absolutely murder her if it’s boxing (obviously).
I’ve never heard her name until a few days ago, she’s no household name. Ronda is a household name. My parents know her. And the fight will be in Vegas so it really doesn’t matter how big she is in the UK. Ronda is bigger here and probably bigger in the UK too
I don’t think so. Ronda had Hollywood on her mind. She also thought no one could ever beat her. She overlooked Holly, I highly doubt Holly would win in a rematch, then or now

Hollywood had no impact when she fought undefeated Zingano and Correia that same year and beat them both in a combined 48 seconds.
Ronda couldn’t strike with Holm and didn’t even get close to submitting her when she finally got her down.
If Ronda believed she had a chance of beating Holm she would have chased the rematch.
She clearly wanted nothing to do with Holly ever again and IMHO that’s because she doesn’t believe that she has any chance of beating her.
I don’t believe Ronda was about to star in a big budget remake before she fought those 2 broads. I could be wrong though
I also don’t remember Ronda getting Holm down even once. Holm went on to lose twice before Ronda came back. And then Holly lost a 3rd time on the event after Ronda vs Nunes.
In closing, Holly Homely is the most overrated fighter in the last dozen years
I heard one of the stipulations is Ronda gets to wear MMA gloves and Katie has to wear those huge, foxy boxing gloves.

Ronda had Holly in her world and didn’t come anywhere near close to getting a submission.
This fight was a mis-match.

Rousey recently turned some heads with an MMA training video. The once dominant UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion said her love for MMA was returning. This led many to question whether or not Rousey is planning on making a comeback.
Top MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz sees the dollar signs and has pounded the table for Kayla Harrison to fight Rousey. Abdelaziz claims there is some bad blood between the two, and he doesn’t believe Harrison likes Rousey as a person. Whether or not such a matchup will be booked remains to be seen, as Harrison has to focus on her UFC 324 super fight against Amanda Nunes.
