Rumor: RFK To Endorse Trump on Friday?

Except he represents everything the dems do with the exception of vaccines… that’s basically it.

If that is true, then he most certainly wouldn’t endorse trump, would he?

He’s approached both sides with his endorsement for a cabinet position. He’s a kennedy, a crook that wants power. By any means possible.

I keep switching between this position, and that the dem voters that wouldve voted for him are probably going back to kamala. I really dont know what rhe better play is. I have to presume that if trump is trying to get rfk on the team, he has some insight that i dont

And they do!?

They used legal warfare to take him off state ballots and keep him off others. They specifically did not have an open convention because RFK had the highest support among contenders… Why the fuck should he bend the knee to these fucks?

That was my thought too. Was not envisioning RFK taking a lot of votes from Trump. Maybe he also would not take enough from Kamala to make a difference either.

The party has every right to deny a candidate the ability to represent them. It’s their rules. The courts have upheld this position. Candidate doesn’t get to force the hand of the party if they feel it’s contrary to their bylaws.

No argument from me… But then they don’t get to crow about ‘saving democracy’ at the same time.

Why not? It’s not anti democratic for a political party to only allow people that they feel represent their party to run as their party

Efforts to keep him off ballot as an independent- yes, that is greasy as fuck and should be condemned. But as a representative of their party? No- fair game and not hypocritical. That’s the point of having a party and that party setting it’s own rules.

It’s not anti-democratic to not give party membership a say in who they want to represent them for President!?

Not when the person doesn’t embody the bonafides of that party, no. While rfk may share some of the same positions, he is a long way from lockstep beyond just the position on vaccines.

Not everything has to be a plebiscite to qualify as being “democratic”. The party leadership has a role to play.

Again- anyone that fights to keep independent candidates off is gross and thwarting democracy. Not the parties within themselves deciding who is a valid member.

looks like there is an annoucement on Friday

You sound like a worried leftist.

The answer to your question is, a lot of them.

I just don’t see how.

People who hate Trump hate Trump. No endorsement is changing that.

Except he does.

It is the rest of the party that strayed from the path.

Even if that is true, it’s still the party that gets to make that call.

It’s true.

It’s okay to say it’s true.

Eveyone alive longer than 20 years knows it’s true.

RFK Jr is running @ 5% lol. Democracy = majority

Both parties refuse Neo-Nazi candidates without voting on it. It’s a membership, this is how it works in all parties.

RFK is more radical than the green party on environmental issues, and yet is an anti vaxxer. There is no party for that.

So know RFK is a Nazi too!? You need to get outta your mommas basement a lil more…

I don’t understand this at all after the assassination attempt, let alone the lawfare.
