Silva has the reach, speed, and power advantage.
Strickland beat a washed Izzy but Silva is much more of a muay thai striker, Sean would probably have trouble avoiding the clinch where Anderson was deadly.
I respect the evolution of the sport but I’m taking the Spider.

i don’t think so. sport hasn’t really evolved that much in the past 10-15 years. probably more depth. and it’s changed. but change is more necessary just to keep people off balance than because the change is “better.”
even if im wrong about everything i just said, anderson silva is truly special. the true GOATs transcend eras

Sean beats his ass. Sean destroyed way way higher competition than Silva ever has as well. Weidman beat the breaks off Silva twice for fuck sakes. Silva struggled with Damian Maia in his prime. Colby beat the fuck out of Maia leaving him in a pool of his own blood.

Depends on how aggressive Silva is. If Silva comes out like a predator Sean get’s KO’ed imo.
He refused to demolish any Brazilians, he said it before and after the fights.
Also, anderson fought the who’s who at the time and the competition was constant to 10 for over half his career. Strickland is tough but that’s about it. Prime forrest likey beats strickland imo.
