Sean fights nothing like Leben……
Leben was basically a bum fights guy off the streets. Had no skills, was not championship level anytime in his career. Not really a fair comparison.

Vitor hated silva, called him fake and annoying and said he wears a mask. Anderson in turn showed up wearing a mask to the weigh-ins and then karate kicked his teeth down his throat. No worries though vitor had a foot fetish so it all worked out.

There is no world in which Strickland “destroys” Anderson. But I could see him out pointing Anderson across five rounds the way Bisping did.
Anderson made people look silly when they came charging at him like Forrest or Leben, but he was content to stare at guys when they wouldn’t over extend.
I still think prime Anderson would still catch him at some point though, at least 7/10 times.

Only difference is Sean would walk straight into in
Dricus with his weird marauder grappling wins that fight easily.
Silva had weak takedown defense and Dricus isnt Chael getting caught in triangles every other fight.

The sport is getting better on average, yes. Silva was not average. He was a few generations ahead of his time, hence his dominance.
This fantasy matchup would suck. Silva doesn’t throw unless he has someone charging in on him. Strickland doesn’t throw much even if he does. Staring contest.
