I really liked this show when it first aired
I never knew they made a series out of the meh movie Snowpiercer.
I’m through season 1 and still interested, so I guess that’s a good sign.
It is still watchable. It holds up. The writing was good.
I tried to show my son Knight Rider and it didn’t hold up. He was like these guys cant fight. It was pretty corny.
The Fall Guy would have a crazy stunt and they would try to work it into the show.
One show he jumped out of a moving plane then landed on another plane and climbed in. No CGI it was crazy. Im sure multiple takes but no green screen. The top stuntmen would come up with a crazy stunt and they would put it in.
Plus they didn’t insult you with 1 guy vs 10 guys where he wins or 100 lbs chick 1 punch knockout of a bodyguard.

Yes and they made him pretty close to the real guy…in fact one thing i liked about that series is they didn’t add a lot of extra drama…pretty much everything it showed was based of the actual reports and etc.
Pretty wild shit when you think of how they pulled it off…way crazier than shawshank if you dont count the outside help

EP 9 and 10 are a masterclass in saccharine personal drama. Normally that shit makes me cringe when tv/movie producers try and execute it but, as much as I loathe her opinions, Jamie Lee Curtis is unbeatable in the role here when they use her.
The middle of the season drags a bit with the “Here’s a look into this character again” stuff, but if you’re still into what is a pretty plot-devoid, personal drama show at this point. It pays off in ep 9 & 10.
