My dad didn’t have a black box but knew people who did.
He’d bring a bunch of his BBQ chicken and beer.
Watched a lot of fights that way.
One time they managed to scramble a box just before a Tyson fight started. All the other fights worked, and even the walkouts for the Tyson fight, ring announcing, “Let’s get ready to rumble”, everything. Then basically as soon as the bell rang the signal scrambled. By the time whoever’s box it was could even begin to fuck with it, the fight was over LOL.
What a bummer.
I still picture some techs in a room somewhere laughing about all the people they pissed off.
