Ilia Topuria was incredible. Good promotion and great fights. I’m sad to see him go from the FW division so soon

Islam - hilarious guy and incredible fighter. No boring fights. He’s easily the most likable fighter here

DDP - he’s gay and his fights are boring. He’s got great trash talk though no doubt

JBJ - non existent. Holding up the division

Aspinal - cringe. Annoying voice. He looks kinda bad for begging for fights with pereira and JBJ. And his fights are boring. All quick KOs in the first exchange.’not his fault though I guess

Sport is the last meritocracy left. We live in a world run by the wealthy and their children. I’d rather this situation than undeserving fighters getting protected for their title run.

Ankalaev worked harder than almost every champ out there for that belt. Even if he is boring.

Aspinal does look like a block, I’m also a fan of his. Merab is a boring and real dumb fuck. Islam, Ank and JJ are awesome.

Agree with pretty much all of this except Aspinall; hes just trying to coax Jon into stepping up.

And honestly, what is he supposed to do here? Defend the interim until Jon finally retires? Its ridiculous that hes even had the interim this long and DEFENDED it.

Jon needs to make up his mind.

Do not understand this take at all, love seeing knock outs and if you are skilled enough to do it early in a fight then even more impressed.

Aspinall is what we need at heavyweight and more of him

I love KO’s too obviously. But his fights are boring. His fights always end in the first or second exchange. I prefer long drawn out wars not just one punch KOs in the first minute

I don’t blame Tom for chasing that fight, that’s gonna set him up financially for years and years. I do think JJ beats him and anyone else including Francis.

Agreed, there’s no Anderson Silva or GSP that has transcended the Octagon with their personalities and conduct in the Octagon.

That said, they’re fighters and they fight great and that’s all we can ask for.
