I think its kinda like how billionairs constantly feel like they need to earn more and how there are rivals amoung them. They not only have a hole in them that can’t be filled but they need to feel better than their peers.

I think that’s pretty much what the guy who created MySpace did back in the day. Got paid a few 100mil and was like “yeah…its beach and family time” and we never heard from him again. He seems to be the rarity.

Now I’m not really anti billionaire, but it does seem akin to a gambling addict or a workaholic or something.
Taking the huge fuck you money fortune you made selling one company and then to risk that and double down once, twice or three times to become a billionaire.

It’s way worse than that. I used to like Timmy until I heard him on Jocko saying how he doesn’t need steroids because he’s a great athlete, losers use them only etc when it’s obvious he’s juicing like Jack Lalaine.

I know plenty of people that made money in one venture and then continued with other ventures, some of those ventures successful and others not. However, I don’t know anyone that took absolutely everything they made from their first success and placed as a large bet on another risky venture. That’d be stupid, or hopefully highly unusual.
