That Brent dude is a Delta boy who got shot up and gets pissed about liars and people divulging classified information.
Their pods on Rob O’Neill, Pat Tillman and Marcus Luttrell are worth a listen. He basically says that the lies are what get people killed, prevent learning and they are used as propaganda to boost the reputation of units that were fucking up.
There’s always war liars. They used to sit in a bar and people mostly ignored their BS. Now that a lot of people hero worship veterans there’s a market economy for the bar liars to self promote and become wealthy off lying.

I live about 90 mins from Chimney Rock where Helene decimated western Carolina. So this hits close to home.
I watched this Tim interview and his self promoting in this video is sickening to me.

He has always come across as a bit of a blowhard to me, so I’m not particularly shocked to hear this. Not saying the allegations are true, but it wouldn’t surprise me

I remember meeting a former special forces guy in Asia. We connected because we are both Americans.
He started talking all about how horrible it was and having to do whatever they told him to do including killing kids and it was horrible.
He seemed really jaded about the military. That guy, truly was in the shit.
Shawn Ryan now believes the US were not the good guys and is jaded about the US government. It’s obvious he was really in the shit.
Tim Kennedy boasts about “serving” and killing “the bad guys”. He sounds like a psychopath or sociopath I’m not sure which.

I cant speak to his service record but that comment paired with his support of government oversite on gun control turns me off from the guy.
He knows first hand how powerful a superior armed force the US govt is and he still thinks regular citizens like most of us should not be allowed to own guns. That tells me that he is not on the side of the average american citizen. Worst off when pressed about it he will flip flop.
Its just a bad combo of an military un-empathic guy when it comes to killing kids supports the idea that the government should have final say on the right to defend ones self.

That gif made me realize how awful grapplers were in the 90’s. It’s the guy’s signature move and he’s got a willing partner to execute it on but he’s off balance and jerky the whole time.

I dont wanna be like the rest of the world. I have been to other nations and made many friends with some great people. I dont wanna be like them and I respected it when they said they didnt wanna be like me (talking about the American way of life). This is why I think we became friends to start with. I didnt feel the need to change them and they didnt feel the need to change me. When I visit them I respect their way of life and when they were here they respected mine. Im American and they are they. There is and should be a healthy respect there between 2 peoples way of life.

I dont feel the need to tell others how they must defend their own lives (when it does not effect my ability) and I expect others to give me that same respect. Besides myself I have people I love and wish to protect. If you cant respect my choices in carrying out those duties when they dont in any way effect you then that says more about how low of a quality of individual you are than it says about me.
