I don’t know anything about comic books, but story is pretty interesting. Turki is going into comic books/movies/video games. All to create a massive boxing brand like UFC.

White revealed TKO will be focused on signing younger and overlooked talent from across the globe and matching them aggressively against one another similar to White’s beloved nostalgic memories of watching USA Network’s “Tuesday Night Fights” (which aired from 1982 to 1998). By bringing “the UFC model to boxing,” as White has repeatedly said, this would essentially allow TKO to reset boxing’s baseline paygrades to a more manageable structure while creating a boxing factory and assembly line akin to UFC’s “Dana White Contender Series.”

What they are going to do. Two modes, all paid for by Turki.

  1. TKO Boxing league
  2. Big ‘Ring’ Turki shows. Maybe 12 a year.

Turki will be controlling everything. Gradually over 1-2 years, then over 3-5 years and 7-10 years, Turki/TKO will take over a bigger and bigger % of boxing’s market share. They will only leave scraps for the other promoters.

On this show, below, Turki says they are going to be a bulldozer and are going wipe field clean of competitors.

It’s going to be UFC’s rise to dominance 2007-2016 all over again. It will be tougher. They will face more resistance. But Turki will always be able to outbid everyone for the needle-moving stars. They have already got Canelo. They will get them all, over time.

Canelo is his own promoter. Turki still has to work with other promotions unless he outright signs these guys to his company. As for now, that’s not what’s happening

The chickens are letting the fox into the henhouse. The fox will ravage eventually. Maybe they have no choice. But in the future fighters/Turki will just cut out the middle men. That’s business. Business doesn’t care about feelings.
