Great news Parker 100% deserves it! Especially as (IMHO) DDD has been exposed as a drug cheat hiding from the testers.
Since he won the title if he fights parker this will be the 5th consecutive time Usyk has fought either a current, former or future world champion since he first beat AJ.
For contrast since Tyson Fury first won the title against Vladimir in his 12 fights since he has only fought 2 current or former legit heavyweight champions. Wilder and Usyk and he could only beat one of them.
What a sham of a career for someone who was so gifted and talented. Even though he is a two time world champion I feel he has wasted much of his career.
Usyk is a great example of how to maximise your potential and conduct yourself properly as a fighter IMHO.
Yea when you look at it like that he really didn’t have the best career journey. I hope that all changes in the future given these new plans for boxing and that.
Although I don’t like him personally anymore there isn’t any doubt (if you are being intellectually honest) that he was a fantastically gifted and talented fighter who could really have achieved so much more in the sport.
Instead he wasted it with long periods of inactivity, fighting cans and going many months without training even while he was WBC champion. The training he did do I wonder if it was as good as it could have been to maximise his potential.
He can still possibly become a 3 time world champion if he really devotes himself to the sport properly but I’m having trouble seeing it to be honest. Just seems like he fell out of love with the sport many years a go.

LOL He did f*ck all with the UFC. It was someone else at Spike who came up with the idea of The Ultimate Fighter which Dana White initially shot down. It was someone else’s idea to make Fight Island a reality during the pandemic. This guy taking all the credit for other peoples’ work. Dude was carrying the bags for the Fertittas at best.
TUF was also a direct rip off of the WWE’s tough enough series too.
So zero marks for originality there.
