Meh… Each has their pros. Obviously this forum is way more active. Tmmac ignore actually works though. Thats my number 1 request here… Get a working ignore feature.

The only poster I’d consider ignoring is that annoying faggot karasu AKA theraskal. IDK why, but his syntax and just the way he writes pisses me off way more than the content. He types like a retarded foreigner trying to speak English. The occasional all caps he uses on certain words…idk why such a small detail makes me want to curbstomp that queer

I didnt need it on my old account on the OG but last few years its been horrible the amount of trolls and paid shills.

With proper forum software when you ignore a poster it blocks threads they create, it blocks their posts, there is no clicking to view it. Its like they dont exist.
There are plugins for discourse to have functioning blocking feature as its highly desired.

Thats how ignore works… Not just in forums but everywhere its available. Thats normal functionality.
Now if you have software that auto hides due to down votes… You can open that up and get visibility on it. Thats normal.
But thats not how ignore is suppose to work. Ive never seen an ignore work as a “hide” In any other forum software.

Too many people startee getting bored on thr old OG and invented these character troll accounts that are super annoying. Some weird fantasy role playing shit. So bizarre. Then you have the paid propagandists who literally just parrot what they’re paid to do… Probably on 20 different forums like ziggy for example.
We need a functional ignore where we can just ignore these people and its like they dont exist. Just like we would in real life.
Im not saying we should mass ignore someone like EFM who can be annoying but more or less is a real person posting.
Yeah trolling is funny but shit gets old after a while. Guys like theraskel and the AOC guy do nothing but troll, I mean they never contribute anything for years.

Already pretty comparable to the old UG even without some of the most common MMA posters - BJ Penn Forever, NDA, etc.
Hopefully this site will even eventually attract new members altogether which the old UG failed miserably at doing.
