I remember seeing video of him watching the Jones Stipe fight as a backup fighter like a total cuck. Imagine the interim champ being the fucking back up fighter. Ridiculous. And thought he was a badass for drinking some beer a couple hours before the fight started. It was pathetic to see.
Sounds like he’s manned up a bit since then.

I’m all for fighters making money while they can and UFC definitely underpays a large chunk of their roster. That said, it does seem like fighters (especially heavyweights) are trying to force the hand too much. UFC will make you a household name if you can put on great fights and will fight. Seems crazy to get the belt and then start to needle the promotion when you have had one or zero title defenses.
