I watched that movie so many times, I knew all the words without the subtitles. Thanks for sharing!

was it the same little asian guy that did the Raid movies?

Part 3 yes

I didn’t know there was a part 3 - I might take a look. Thanks.

Without the likes of Ong-Bak I don’t think we would have had The Raid.

No, that is Iko UWais.

Tony Jaa’s work was a major influence for director Gareth Evans, though. Seeing a Southeast Asian dude using a more obscure form of marital arts and doing his own stunts laid the groundwork for Merantau and the success of that movie led to The Raid.

Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais were in a movie together called Triple Threat. It was a b-list action film that brought together a bunch of prominent martial arts actors.

The movie is garbage, but the fight choreography is good.

TTT

Not sure if he’s co-star or makes a cameo. But he’s in it.

There’s only two Raid films.

Jaa is not in either.

Sucks to hear. I don’t know if he can be topped as an action star, from a technical perspective.

Oh ok. Is this just an error then?

Edit. Just read it’s been discussed about thanks

That sucks.

5 year survival rate for gb cancer is only like 20% so hoping he beats the odds.
