- Paulo Costa vs. Roman Kopylov officially moved from UFC 317 to next month’s UFC 318
“Sin City” lost “The Reaper.”
Recently jailed Sedriques Dumas has withdrawn from his scheduled Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight clash against UFC newcomer Jackson McVey at UFC 317 this weekend (Sat., June 28, 2025) for undisclosed reasons.
Florida’s Dumas was recently arrested for a number of very serious crimes (details here).
McVey remains on the pay-per-view (PPV) card, now facing another UFC debutant, Chile’s Christopher Ewert, in a matchup which someone will lose thier undefeated record.
Ewert (7-0) was slated to compete for a UFC contract on Season 9 of Contender Series that starts up in two months against Yuri Panferov, but has skipped that process entirely.
“El Tanke” is coming off a unnaimous decision over Reese Watkins at Fury FC 100 in Jan. The 31-year-old holds a 71% finish rate with five knockouts, all coming in the first round.
Like I said in the other thread, it’s one thing to have the tools to win. It’s another to have the game plan to win.
lol, the guy is an old man now. This really should be his retirement fight.
