It probably is potentially but it still depends on who’s fighting. UFC has been on ABC, FOX, etc, already. The numbers don’t spike just by being on there. Combining the biggest platforms with big stars is when it actually works.
I think Kimbo still has the highest ratings ever which kinda proves it.
Agreed. We’ll see how it plays out but the talk is it will be big names in big matchups. The novelty of it being at the Whitehouse will probably pull in randoms as well especially when you consider that a good percentage of network tv show numbers are people just not changing the channel.
Thats why Royal was never going to be on the card. Yet, he’s acting like he can’t be bothered with it and is taking some kind of moral stand against it, lol.
I don’t think Brandon is ignorant. It’s simple. He doesn’t want to fight in front of a bunch of politicians and billionaires. He didn’t say anything about money or fame.
That is definitely not the case. I’m not a fan of most fighters that happened to be on a random fight night card.
But just because I watched them, that makes me a fan? Absolutely not. I’m a fan of fights. Casuals are fans of watching the UFC because it’s popular and makes them look “cool”.
If you’re a professional it shouldn’t matter. It’s a job. You go out there and perform regardless if it’s the White House lawn or the Tachi Palace.
I rodeoed for years. It didn’t matter to me if it was a Wednesday night jackpot in Gilroy or a pack house bull riding at the Fresno Fair. I gave zero shits who was watching. My effort was always balls to the wall.
Yall are missing the point completely…. He has his principles and doesn’t care what you think. He clearly doesn’t care as much about money as he does being true to himself.
So you can call him stupid or whatever…. He’s gonna do what he wants and will never read your comments. Yall are looking at things from only one perspective.
