UFC has multi billion dollar TV rights and is a massive entertainment company with WWE. More promotions is good but come the fuck on man.
Every couple of years we here the same shit. People can’t understand that the star is the “UFC” not Conor, not Jones, not any of them. There is a reason they turned Dana into the Vince McMahon character. Fighters come and go but the brand will stay.

At this point I am feel like Jake and Dana are working everyone. Jake’s manager was the former CFO of Zuffa but they keep shit talking the UFC about fighter pay but the guy managing and promoting them was the guy who enforced those practices lol.
Pretty sure both of Francis’ boxing matches took place at like 10am, which means 1,000 people watched it live while the rest of us slept in and caught the highlights on Twitter or YouTube.
Glad he got paid but he’s never been a draw, even in the UFC.
Even with the UFC promoting him as capable of punching as hard as a ford escort he still didn’t draw. The HW division hasn’t had a draw since Lesnar.
No one can spell Peirra or topierra or machevov. They are not stars. UFC does not want stars they want events that delivery there contractual obligations .
Yeah I wonder if Elon Musk wanted to break into mma and create a new org - could he be successful? He obviously has the funding but could he find the fighters and matchups that would draw eyes to his event? I think even he would struggle
But yeah, they are trying to compete with ufc by putting Ronda vs Gina?!? And Ngannou vs some other guy!!? 
Correct. Francis, for whatever reason has never been a big draw in mma .. he was flat-lining opponents in ufc yet still never really seemed to become a star .. then he goes off to boxing and gets KOed and now he’s coming back to fight a rather unknown light hvwt.. meh
The only way would be if he can pull name guys away from the UFC. Not the low level guys or washed up fighters like the other upstarts do.
I think someone could do a successful org outside of the US with lesser known, somewhat regional fighters.
