UFC Rigging Scandal! Helwani: 'I hear UFC Fights Are Getting Rigged!'

This was just posted by a gym here. Lots of UFC fighters train there. Royval, Zalal, Brundage, Jacoby… A few months ago one of their corner guys punched my coach after one of our fighters beat him in the cage. So, I don’t think very highly of them, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were involved in this shit.

And my coach is the best guy ever. I wasn’t there, but zero chance it was called for.

Wasn’t that demopolus broad a stripper? She is talking about her integrity? Ell oh fucking ell.

These female fighters now sell pictures of their assholes online for $12, of course they would throw fights.

Is she doing that too? I will venture over to the appropriate lounge thread and check, brb…

Sorry for the false alarm, I don’t think she is lol. I was expanding my criticism of her to female fighters in general.

A lot of things about this situation I am finding pretty ridiculous. First of all, I think the MMA media is bored and most of them hate the UFC and are trying to blow this out of proportion.

The fight itself, I really thought nothing about it (except a lost a few bucks having Dulgarrian in a parlay). It’s only in combination with the betting trends, does it look suspect. And I still don’t think the fight itself looked odd. People are acting like Dulgarrian is Jon Jones, and was invincible. He has looked pretty bad in more than 1 fight.

I can’t even count all the times I have seen someone caught in a RNC, not fight the hands, and be trying to face punch behind his head. There is terrible submission defense on almost every card.

The guy he fought has not lost, and has multiple 1st and 2nd round finishes by submission, with his last fight in the UFC being a win by RNC in the 1st round. Maybe his next fight it will be obvious he’s a jobber. But media acting like it was a forgone conclusion he was to lose to uber prospect Dulgarrian.

Last the fighters coming out saying they were approached are all laughable. They are all on losing streaks, and have losing records in the UFC. This would be like paying Crazy Horse to take a dive. The payment is not really necessary.

He popped up after tapping faster than the guy who was applying the choke

That doesn’t seem odd to you?

He had tons of gas in the tank and wasn’t in danger of losing consciousness from lack of air or blood. Clearly chose to end it right then and then jumped up quickly…in defeat.

It wasn’t about how the fight looked. It got flagged because of the way bets started coming in and that’s pretty much a guarantee it was fixed.

If NBA players making $10 million+ are rigging games of course UFC fighters who make $10k with a complimentary whiff of Dana’s ass are going to throw fights

It was like he was hoping he would be put to sleep. But it wasn’t happening by either involuntary self preservation by the brain or dude had a shit squeeze.

Yep, he just stopped fake fighting the choke, then he just taps and jumps up super quick.
