Well if the trend keeps going, any time they add in someone - that person is the flavor of the month until the next balance patch

Hopefully if they need to balance him with a patch, they don’t overdo it. I don’t want him to be the single best guy, but amongst the best and can hang with anyone.

Oh yeah for sure. I hear Calzaghe is the OP fighter at MW at the moment so maybe I’ll be playing a lil MW when it hits consoles and get some revenge.

I don’t think there’s a good MW swarmer, but I could be wrong. I wish the game had LaMotta.
LaMotta is one of the most glaring omissions though, so maybe he’ll be added down the line. I’d be stoked if he was put in the game.

The game has a great roster but it’s missing a lot of middleweights, and middleweight is one of the most talent rich divisions historically. It was packed with great fighters in Fight Night Round 4. Undisputed is missing Hagler, Monzon, LaMotta, Hearns, James Toney, and Duran.
Agreed, they just dont have EA money
Maybe after the game is released on consoles they can use some of the money from sales to get more fighter licenses.
It’s a great roster and honestly, if I only had Joe Frazier to use, and he was viable against any heavyweight (which you said he was, and I was really happy to hear), I’d be fine and happy. Hopefully JCC is similarly competitive in his division, and I’ll be super happy with “only” those two, if that’s the case.

We had an awesome OG Fight Night scene. Great matches, great shit talk, great giving each other tips and helping each other to get better. I’m almost certain we had a few tournaments too. It was a blast.

Not only do I hope JCC can hold his own against the best in the game, but I hope I can use him in two or three divisions. That way I can use him against a wider variety of opponents, and also when I’m playing against people I know irl or on the OG, there are more divisions that I’m ok with using. People will propose having matches in various divisions, the more of them I can say “yes” to and have a fighter to use in that division that I really like, the better.
@TheVandalz Marciano is a 90 at heavyweight and a 91 at Cruiserweight. You said he lacks toughness and speed at heavyweight, hopefully at Cruiserweight those weaknesses are milder or nonexistent. Otherwise, I don’t have a go to fighter for Cruiserweight.
Not a huge deal if he’s not good at Cruisweight as I’m not as enthusiastic about him as I am Frazier and JCC. JCC needs to be good! Happy to hear that Frazier is a contender.
1964 Ali has the potential to be overpowered.
