Just bought the game. Kind of slow/clunky at first. The fact half the boxers are behind a bunch of paywalls is bullshit.

Yeah I’m not a fan of this new bullshit.
I can understand a reasonable price to add new fighters, because that’s the technology.
But the day you purchase and load the game, it should be up to date with the most current roster IMO.

Yep. 50 bucks for the base game and then another $100 just for the roster is insane. They’re on sale pretty often but its still some bullshit

Steam has a sale right now 50% off many games but only %35 off if buy game with all the packs.
$80 CAD for the game with all the packs, not sure if it’s worth it.
I disagree about the DLC. I love when they add fighters to the roster, DLC, and they aren’t going to do it unless they can charge us. I’m happy to pay to get it. It cost them money to sign the fighters. If they don’t charge for it, we don’t get it.
That’s fine and dandy when its just a few fighters for a dlc. When 60% of the total roster is behind a paywall though thats dirty

Also, the packs come out over time. I don’t mind spending 40 bucks on DLC, $8 at time, spread over a year, and getting a lot more fighters for it.

I’m reading that career mode is not polished, saying that it gets repetitive when you get to the top and you can’t even change divisions.
If I buy the game, it would be mainly for career mode rather than playing online so not sure how I’m liking this.
