Wonder if he got a piece of Ming Na Wen?!?!

He’s said he is bipolar. People tried to get him to learn to act better for years. He never had the patience. Ogre on Bloodsport hated working with him. Some have said that Van Damme was moody because he was fasting to make sure his body looked good.
She is the perfect Cami.
If you haven’t seen Jean Claude Van Johnson, it’s awesome. It ends abruptly due to cancellation, but JCVD is great.
Dang, this one passed me by? Looks great.
Everyone I’ve met who worked with that guy has horror stories I’ve never seen published.
The funniest part is the multiple ass beatings he has taken from stuntmen and associates, which never humbled him even a little bit. He just denies that they happened.
I still love his movies. He’s 100x better than ol Steve.
Cyborg, Kickboxer, and Bloodsport alone are classics - and he actually edited Cyborg and saved the film.
Say what you will about Van Damme, but I will always be down for a Bloodsport/Kickboxer/Lionheart triple feature. Can’t stop, won’t stop.
I know this is a JCVD thread, but do yourself a favor and give this a listen on Steven Seagal. It’s pure gold!
Rockhard and a little bit blue monday!

Well, lets hear em.

Well, lets hear em.
One I heard I can’t repeat, but an older one was on the set of Cyborg (I think AFTER he damaged the one stuntman’s eye iirc).
He purposefully knocked the shit out of stuntman/actor Blaise Loong, and Blaise chewed him out in front of everyone.
JCVD escalated it into an actual fight. Blaise kicked his ass and everyone was stoked.
Went back to filming the next day with no mention of it.
I had the privilege of speaking with one of Van Damme’s former movie foes regarding a potential business deal some years back, Greg “Magic” Schwarz. He was the guy JCVD kicks through the glass on the racquetball court in Lionheart. He also played “Smasher” in Over the Top with Sylvester Stallone, and was in Stone Cold with Brian Bosworth. He couldn’t have been nicer. Awesome guy who has led an interesting life. He’s been an actor and stuntman for decades. He did this interview with The Hannibal TV a few years back. It’s a really cool listen. He does mention at some point in the interview that he competed in the UFC in the early days. He was never in the UFC, but I don’t think he is intentionally lying about his combat sports background here, I think he is just using “UFC” as a blanket statement for the NHB/MMA training he did years ago. He was friends with and trained with Gene LeBell. He was also a major player in the early bodybuilding days at Gold’s Gym. Anyway, Magic is a great guy and has lived an interesting and exciting life. Give this interview a listen.
Whose got the best man moan? Sly, Lee, Van Damn, Lundgren, Arnie?
