Running a communications/media company in 2024 is pretty easy. You can get AI to create content for you, and since AI is really good at interpreting text, you can even have it moderate a forum for you - a really easy way to stay within the bounds of a faggot government without a first amendment.

So all you have to do to save money is tell your AI what to ban people for, and it will just take care of all that for pennies on the dollar. Unfortunately, if you’re retarded, you won’t have enough leeway, and if your government is filled with faggots, you will tell the AI to draw the line WAAAY back from where it needs to be, and any speech that isn’t overly constrained and feminized will trigger the AI mod.

The speed at which this happened is far beyond human capability. This was a sub 100 IQ person from a restrictive society programming AI to do a job to save money.

That’s kind of what I assumed or hoped at first and then everything would go back to normal when someone fixed and explained the situation, but when no one even made a single mention of the matter and alternative forums were being discussed I figured fuck it I’m joining the exodus.

AI is not dumb enough to do what they did. The site is now dead. Forum is dead. They now have literally nothing. The 1000+ a year for the URL is worth more than the site.

It was a calculated and coordinated strike. They took out the admins first (Harlem and I) then took out the mods. Reason for this is because we were the only ones that could undo the bannings and changes they were making on the fly.

Furthermore, if it was AI you would have seen members getting banned back to back. There was a long delay in the mod actions almost like someone was scrolling through threads to find a target, navigation over to the mod console, looking the member up and then dropping the hammer.

This was not AI; this was vindictive attitude mixed with ineptitude with a touch of faggotry.

Discourse actually has out of the box AI that will run a report on users, based on their posts and bring it to the attention of the mods.

Perhaps Alta was using those AI tools to get a pulse of members who were using “Hate speech” etc but the actual bannings came from Fleety.

When I got banned, I still had a UG thread opened that I had posted a string of “inappropriate” memes on. I sat there getting high and chuckling like a retard while I watched them delete each one.

I actually thought they were only going delete one for some reason at first…but then about 5 minutes later, another one. Eventually, another.

Unless deleting a post was a very complicated matter, it seemed like somebody was struggling with each one lol. I was thinking “didn’t you just delete a couple already? Shouldn’t you have this figured out now?”…didn’t seem like it took Harlem 10 minutes to delete a post anyways lol.

Anyways, I was pretty amused at how much of their time I was wasting until I realized I was wasting the same time watching them do it. Then I felt dumb and stopped. They still had a few posts to go lol.
