I have no dog in this fight and thought that Chimaev won. Strickland fought on his back foot all night and had one good round. Chimaev made more adjustments and pressed the action..He also landed more leg kicks and had all of takedowns. Also did more damage to Stricklandā€™s face by busting up his nose.

Exactly. The leg kicks and takedowns were more effective than pitter-patter jabs.

Chimaev landed the bigger shots throughout the fight as well and did more damage, busting up Stricklandā€™s nose.
