That’s the problem with brainless judges that don’t see the whole picture like yourself. They consider someone who jabbed 90% of the fight the more effective striker lol

lol I bet your the same type of dude that was at my gym telling me he wanted to fight someone that had a losing record and was much smaller then him. Haha.
He fought on the defensive for 4 rounds. Who landed the more effective strikes and did more damage? Chimaev. Who had all of the takedowns? Chimaev. Who landed all the leg kicks? Chimaev.
Judges are biased and retarded just like Volk here.

Strickland has a really good jab and he was landing it a lot. He also defended takedowns really well.
GSP won lopsided fights behind a stiff jab and great takedown defense. Many of the greatest boxers’ best punches were jabs.
Touch-up jabs don’t win you fights if that’s all that you do. Jabs are meant to set up other shit, which Strickland wasn’t able to accomplish at all.
They were not touch-up jabs. Many were stiff. There were some right hands too. A few kicks.
Strickland defended the takedowns well, and he also defended his own head well in the standup exchanges.
Their hatred to someone because of their religion and skin color is showing is all.
Also add the fact they are half retarded.
Anyone that thinks someone who jabbed 90% of the fight off their back foot is more impressive then the other guy who was mixing up their strikes more and landing effective strikes should be thrown off a bridge.

It was a tough fight but I stand by Strickland doing a good job of defending his head. Khamzat is good standing and landed some, to be sure.

5th round decided it. striking was quite close, chim won the grappling portion.
using the official judging system i’d have gone with chim, but it was very close
