Frees up his schedule to become Trump’s Ambassador to Long Island
Respect.
Now he can sign with the GFC.
Didn’t know he fought last month. Yet another knockout loss after 30 surgeries.
This…
Though I’m glad to see him finally retire Weidman has taken a huge amount of damage in his career which is probably going to have a very significant impact on his mental and physical health in the long term.
He hasn’t been good since Rockhold took his soul. Glad to see him retire.
People claim it was the spinning kick that lost him the fight, but, imo, he was already fading fast at that point. That’s why he did that half-assed spinning kick.
Rockhold was going to win that fight anyway.
The competition also got better after USADA.
The gods haven’t been kind to Rockhold either. He was 1-4 (3 by brutal KO) over a 6.5 year period after beating Weidman, before retiring.
he declined hard when USADA showed up.
I wonder if he will get disowned now that he retired
Matt Serra
He was fading in the Machida fight. He started off strong, but machida was coming back hard and looked more like the winner toward the end. Against Rockhold, he was fading and then got crushed.
I don’t know anything about the backstory in regards to this interview. But at a glance the dude seems to be out of line and grandstanding.
Anyone with more knowledge provide additional details?
And glad Chris is retiring.
So many questions on this. What was this? Some set up where guys about to fight get in front of each other? Usually they are separated. And why does the Brazil guy come from the side when Wiedman is apparently sitting down being interviewed. Brazil guy was talking some shit. That slam looked HARD. Is that what fucked up his back? But he did come back from it and clown Weidman!
I want to believe you’re this naive. I really do.
